During a film production, a Director collects many stories…stories of interviewees sharing their emotions, memories and knowledge; location incidents that challenged the filming; times when that perfect shot overwhelmed our senses with beauty or exhilarated our thirst for action; tales of crew collaboration late into the night prepping for a before-sunrise shoot; reviewing the funny behind the scenes that would create an awesome bloopers reel; or being so grateful to learn that what you worked so hard to capture meant so much to the audience who followed you during the project’s journey.
“Beyond the Game” has been in production since Summer 2015, with over 70 interviews in 30 locations worldwide. Here are some of my “musings” and I hope you’ll check back from time to time, in anticipation of more and our film’s release in 2018-Susan Sember, Director, Writer & Producer
